Open useful websites from dotScribe

dotScribe can open useful web resources directly in your browser so frequently used references and tools are easier to reach while you work.

Open a web resource

Select a web-link resource in dotScribe and use it to open the destination in your default browser.

Use your existing access

Some destinations are public. Others may ask you to sign in with an account or institutional access you already have. dotScribe opens the destination; the third-party site manages its own accounts and subscriptions.

Create your own web-link shortcut

You can also create a personal phrase whose content is a complete web address beginning with http:// or https://. See Create a phrase that opens a web link.

If a link does not open

Try the link directly in your browser. If the destination itself is blocked by your workplace or network, use the access permitted by your organization rather than bypassing its controls.
