Easily edit dotScribe templates and save them to your personal library for personalized use.
Access the Online Library:
Navigate to the dotScribe Library:
- Click on the "dotScribe Library" tab to access the standardized templates.
- Open the folder containing the phrase you want to edit by clicking the arrow next to the folder name to expand it and view its contents.
Search for the Phrase:
- Ensure you are searching within the dotScribe library and not in the "All Phrases" section. Searching in "All Phrases" will not allow you to edit the templates.
- Use the search bar to find the specific phrase you want to edit.
Edit the Phrase:
- Find the phrase you want to edit and click on its title to open it.
- In the upper right corner of the phrase box, click the "Copy" button.
- This action will copy the phrase to your personal library, allowing you to edit it as your own.
Save to Your Library:
- After copying the phrase, you can modify it according to your needs and save it in your personal library for future use.
Troubleshooting
Cannot Edit Templates: Ensure you are searching and navigating within the dotScribe library and not the "All Phrases" section.
Missing Copy Button: If the copy button is not visible, double-check that you have the necessary permissions.
