Windows

• Windows installer: the standard choice when you can install applications normally.
• Windows portable/USB: useful when you want the portable version and your organization permits portable applications.

macOS

The current desktop release supports Apple Silicon Macs. Install dotScribe in Applications and grant the macOS permissions requested for keyboard capture and insertion.

If your Mac uses Intel

Use the Online Library in a supported browser. The current macOS desktop download is for Apple Silicon Macs.

Browser option

If the desktop app is not practical in your environment, use the Online Library in a supported browser to find, review, manage, and copy reusable content.

Workplace computers

Hospital and workplace security policies vary. If your organization restricts application installation or portable apps, use the supported option your organization permits. The Online Library remains a browser-based way to work with your content when desktop use is not available.
