Using dotScribe on Multiple Computers
Compatibility:
- dotScribe is compatible with Mac and Windows computers.
- You can sign into dotScribe on multiple devices using your account credentials.
Installation Options:
- On your work computer, you can either install dotScribe directly or run it off of a USB drive.
Running dotScribe from a USB
Download and Prepare:
- Download the USB version of dotScribe and unzip the file on your Mac.
- Copy the unzipped dotScribe folder to a USB drive.
- Eject the USB drive from your Mac.
Running on Windows:
- Plug the USB drive into a Windows computer.
- Open the dotScribe folder on the USB drive and double-click the dotScribe.exe file.
- When the Sign In screen appears, enter your account credentials.
- Once the Sign In sync is completed, dotScribe will be ready to use.
Using dotScribe:
- Start typing, and suggestions will appear as you type.
Switching Computers:
- Be sure to exit dotScribe and properly eject the USB drive before moving it to another computer.
