Using dotScribe on Multiple Computers
  • Compatibility:
    • dotScribe is compatible with Mac and Windows computers.

Running dotScribe from a USB

  1. Download and Prepare:

    • Download the USB version of dotScribe and unzip the file on your Mac.
    • Copy the unzipped dotScribe folder to a USB drive.
    • Eject the USB drive from your Mac.

  2. Running on Windows:

    • Plug the USB drive into a Windows computer.
    • Open the dotScribe folder on the USB drive and double-click the dotScribe.exe file.
    • When the Sign In screen appears, enter your account credentials.
    • Once the Sign In sync is completed, dotScribe will be ready to use.

  3. Using dotScribe:

    • Start typing, and suggestions will appear as you type.

  4. Switching Computers:

    • Be sure to exit dotScribe and properly eject the USB drive before moving it to another computer.
