First determine whether dotScribe can find the phrase but cannot insert it. Then make only the smallest change needed.

Try these steps

1. Click inside an editable text field and try inserting a short phrase again.
2. If dotScribe finds the phrase but does not insert it, exit and reopen dotScribe, then retry once.
3. If you see a clipboard or Paste Failed error, open dotScribe Settings and change Clipboard Restore to Medium. Test again before changing anything else.
4. If the same clipboard error continues, change Clipboard Restore to Slow and test again.
5. On macOS, confirm that dotScribe has the required permissions and restart dotScribe if prompted.

Keep working while you troubleshoot

You can use Copy to Clipboard from the Online Library and paste manually.

If it still does not work

Contact Support and include the exact error message and where the problem occurs.

A screenshot can help, but remove any patient information or other sensitive information before sending it. Never send a password, MFA code, or other credential.
