Get your first result: find, preview, and insert or copy useful content

Start with what you need, choose a useful result, review it, and then deliberately use it.

In the dotScribe desktop app

  1. Start typing a word or abbreviation related to what you need.
  2. Select a useful result from the suggestions.
  3. Review the content in Preview.
  4. Use your configured Execute Key to insert it where you are working.
  5. Edit the inserted text as needed.

In the Online Library

  1. Search for what you need.
  2. Select and review the result.
  3. Choose Copy to Clipboard, then paste it where you need it.

What should happen

You should get useful content into your workflow without having to create it again from scratch.

If desktop insertion does not work

Use Copy to Clipboard from the Online Library so you can keep working, then see Fix paste or insertion problems.
