Online Library Lag, Loading Slowly, or No Results After Loading

If your dotScribe Online Library is loading very slowly or shows no results after delayed loading, this is usually caused by a temporary browser connection issue. The good news is it can often be fixed in seconds.

Quick Fix Option 1 (fastest): Click the browser refresh 3 times quickly
If loading is taking too long while in the Online Library:
Click the browser refresh button 3 times quickly (back-to-back).
Wait 5–10 seconds. In most cases, the Online Library will load normally after the rapid refresh.

Quick Fix Option 2 (best fix): Turn off QUIC in Google Chrome
QUIC is a newer Chrome internet connection feature (used for HTTP/3) that can sometimes cause slow or unstable loading on certain computers or networks. Disabling it is safe and only affects Chrome, not your computer or other apps.

Disable QUIC in Chrome:
Open Google Chrome.
In the address bar, type: chrome://flags/#enable-quic
Find Experimental QUIC protocol.
Set it to Disabled.
Click Relaunch to restart Chrome.

Reload the Online Library:
Go back to library.dotscribe.com and log in again.
The Online Library should now load faster and more consistently.

Troubleshooting
- Still stuck loading: Try both fixes above (rapid refresh, then disable QUIC).
- Works on one computer but not another: This is usually a browser/network connection issue and disabling QUIC often resolves it.
- Need to turn QUIC back on later: Repeat the steps above and set Experimental QUIC protocol back to Default.
