Steps to Fix the Cerner Paste Failed Error

  1. Accessing the dotScribe App Menu:

    • Go to the "hidden icons" section of your Windows computer’s bottom right toolbar.
    • To do this, look for a small upward arrow (^) icon in the bottom right corner of your screen, near the clock.
    • Click the arrow to reveal hidden icons. You will see the dotScribe icon here.
  2. Opening dotScribe Settings:

    • Right-click the dotScribe icon in the hidden icons section.
    • Click “Settings” from the context menu that appears.
  3. Adjusting Clipboard Paste Restore Settings:

    • In the settings menu, find the “Clipboard Restore” option.
    • Switch the setting to “Medium.”
    • If the error persists, switch the setting to “Slow.”
  4. Testing the Fix:

    • Try pasting again in Cerner to see if the issue is resolved.
